We all have had that ‘Santa Claus’ moment in our life when we are made aware of the world we are in and that there really is no Santa Claus.   Growing up on farms, this special couple shares the joys and sorrows of their lives over the past 42 years.

This is part one of a three-part series where we talk about their testimony. Then in the subsequent episodes, we will talk about the birth of Cross America and the future of this 501(c)3 non-profit.  Terry and Nieta Merrell are the founders of Cross America and both are still active on the Board of Directors.

God was working all things for the good in the lives of these two very special people.  An equally yoked couple that has walked through trials and tragedy.  In every situation, they drew closer to God and saw His hand working in their lives at every stage.

Dates of note:

• June 8, 1981, the beginning of Terry’s health crisis when He spent almost 60 days in the hospital.
• The summer of 1981 dealt them both a lot of trauma.

There are 114 million Households in the United States of America.  God was calling Terry to get the Gospel message to every home.  He started the process in 2017, then in 2018 Cross America was established and God has been blessing this one-of-a-kind ministry since then.  At the time of this recording, we have sent over 3,599,618 cross-mailers.
