Frequently Asked Questions
We are located at 840 Daniel Drive in Kokomo, Indiana.
- How will you send out the Crosses?
We will use the U.S. Post Office Every Door Direct program that covers every residential stop that the mail delivery persons make.
- What hours will you be open?
We plan to be open from 6:00 a.m. until 9:00 P.M. Monday through Saturday.
- How and when could I volunteer?
You may stop by anytime that we are open and volunteer to package crosses.
- How many homes are in the United States?
There are approximately 114 million homes in America.
- How much of an impact to you expect to make?
We are hoping for a 1% success rate and a 99% failure rate. We realize that not everyone who receives a cross will make an immediate life changing decision. However, it is our hope that for every 100 crosses sent, 1 person's life will be affected and their eternal home will be changed. This may be from someone who was waiting for a sign from God and the next day a cross and message shows up. We believe God will help guide and direct the zip codes that are chosen for this purpose. The impact may also come from someone who puts the cross in their pocket and at a later date reaches for that cross when one of life's struggles hits them.
This cross and message may cause them to ask a co-worker or friend more questions about their faith, which will open the door for a deeper discussion.
- How many crosses to you hope to send out per week?
Our startup goal is to be able to send out 2,000 crosses per week. If we can accomplish this with a 1% success rate, that means 20 peoples' lives could be affected each week for all of eternity. Would you be willing to help package 100 crosses if it meant that 1 person will be saved?
A group of donors has agreed to donate all of the overhead and administration costs annually. This means all staff costs, utilities, insurance, repairs, etc. will all be paid without using any funds given by the general public.
In order to cover the costs of the pocket crosses, envelope and postage, we will rely on donations from the general public. This will allow 100% of every dollar given to go directly to cover these costs. Donors will have the option of sponsoring a zip code or giving to the general fund.
- How much would it cost to sponsor a zip code?
Zip codes can be sponsored for just about any amount. There are some zip codes in Alaska that only have a few people and can be sponsored for less than $20 dollars. In larger cities like New York, you could spend $ 15,000 - $ 20,000 per zip code. There are also thousands of zip codes in between at many different pricing levels. If you have a loved one in a different zip code that you wanted sponsored, you could also do a partial sponsorship if you could not afford the cost for an entire zip code. Please call 765. 780. 3090, or stop by for more information on how to become a sponsor.
